I took a different approach in creating the map. Instead of a traditional map, I did a sort of treasure map of my artistic journey. I went through all the stages in my life and what helped influence my art till I got to the present time. It shows how I grew as a person and an artist and what choices, people, places influenced me. I drew my desk, the garage that my friend and I would hang out at, me and my teacher looking over art, the art store, my goal of getting into CalArts and finally when I did the summer program at CalArts this year.
